Hattie "Beth" T. Eckman, 72, of Honey Brook, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Charles "Chuck" Eckman III, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage until his passing in 2009. Hattie was the proud owner and operator of J.C. Eckman Automotive Inc. in King of Prussia, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John S. Trinsey III and Hattie (Cummings) Trinsey.
Hattie is survived by her devoted family: three daughters, Elizabeth Eckman of Honey Brook, PA, Hattie K. Eckman and her husband Justin Hamarich of Honey Brook, PA, and Melanie A. Eckman and her fiancé Luke Mientus of Schwenksville, PA. She was a cherished "Nana" to her nine grandchildren-Cassie, Sophia, Nicholas, Ayden, Madeline, Owen, Gabriel, Luke, and Vera-and great-grandchildren, Nolan and Aspen. She is also survived by her brother, Jody Trinsey, and his wife Janet of Wilmington, DE.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Coatesville location of the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 1060 W. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Hattie's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
