Haywood Allen Obituary
He was born in Person County, NC, the son of the late Haywood Allen Sr. and Elizabeth Crabtree Allen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Flora Strickland Allen, and his brother, Carlton Allen.
Clarence is survived by his brother, Larry Allen, Sr., of Rolesville, NC, and his stepson, Kia Earp, of Raleigh, NC.
A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, December 2, 2025, at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587. Burial will be a Wake Forest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to Duke HomeCare and Hospice. Online gifts can be made at https://gifts.duke.edu, select Duke Health, followed by Duke HomeCare & Hospice.
Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Allens' residence in Youngsville, NC.
