Hazael Guevara Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Hazael Guevara will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Spring Ridge Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dean Johnson and Pastor Juan Villanueva. Interment will follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Spring Ridge Baptist Church from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Hazael was born March 5, 1960, in Tamazunchale, Mexico and entered into rest on March 4, 2024, in Belmont, Louisiana.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Loretta Guevara; father, Ventura Villanueva; mother, Luisa Guevara; sons, Billy Joe Guevara and wife, Lisa, and Jeremy Guevara; daughters, Naomi Elizabeth Hood and husband, Michael and Amanda Christine Grantham and husband, Christopher; siblings, Eliel Villanueva, Ana Villanueva, Juan Villanueva, Eliud Villanueva, Elizabeth Villanueva, and Joel Villanueva; and grandchildren, Michelle, Bella, Lucy, Dagan, Harvey, Shawn, Miles, Marshall, Eevee, Jackson, Noah, and one on the way, Chester.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Naum Villanueva.
Honoring Hazael as pallbearers will be Jed Gaddis, Cody Hippler, Kyle Salley, Lane Salley, Michael Hood, and Ricky Gaddis. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Samples, Jairo Tercero, Rick Gaddis, RJ Gaddis, Jackson Guevara, and Noah Guevara.
