Hazel W. Davis

Hazel was a very dear friend. We met at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where we served in many capacities under the Pastorate of Dr. Olin P. Moyd. Hazel and I became very good friends as we worked together in service for the Lord. She had a very quiet manner and was very soft spoken. She always wore a serious smile and kind spirit. Her mode of work was, "We have a job to do, let's get it done." Jennifer, Natalie and Tracy, you had a jewel of a mother and I know you will miss her. Mrs. Davis was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was very soft spoken with a beautiful personality. I met Mrs. Davis and her family while growing up as a child at a very early age at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. She was such a wonderful and encouraging person. Who would ever think that after growing up as an adult that we would end up working and retiring from the same place. She worked at the University of Maryland Dental School and I worked at University of Maryland School of Medicine which was directly across the street. Sometimes we would meet up with one another at the end of our work day and walk to our cars together. She was always sooo pleasant. We always had some interesting conversations. I loved her sooo much. I will always remember her. Julia (Etta) Givens.

Sending my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ms Hazel Davis. When I started working at the school of dentistry 20 years ago Ms Hazel was my supervisor. And she encouraged me to do other things and I still have a book that she gave me called the automatic millionaire by David Bach. Miss Hazel will definitely be missed by many.
