Hazel Lean Phifer England, 94, of Midland, North Carolina, died peacefully in her home on February 14, 2024.
Hazel was born in Charlotte in 1929, to the late Harvey H. Phifer and Mildred Moss Phifer.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse of 63 years, Oscar E. "Rusty" England.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland, officiated by Pastor Denny Gray. Burial will conclude at the Pine Bluff United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Toi England Wydra, and sons, Larry England, Robin England, and Mickey England. She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren which she loved very much.
Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
