In loving memory of my Great Aunt Hazel. She was truly a gem of a person, a radiant soul whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel valued and cherished, always knowing the right words.
Her laughter was contagious, and her smile could brighten the day. Whenever we would visit, she always made us feel special. Her thoughtful gestures and listening ear ensured we felt understood and loved and had a great visit. Aunt Hazel had an unwavering ability to see the best in people, encouraging us to embrace our true selves. She often told my parents that we were just kids being kids, and don't worry; she put stuff away that could break. :) :)
Her love for cooking was a bonus; she always shared recipes with my mom. My parents greatly respected Aunt Hazel and Uncle Ted, often reminiscing about the joy they brought to our lives.
Today, I find comfort in knowing she is in heaven with her parents, siblings, son, and the love of her life, Uncle Ted. Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever remain in our hearts. We will miss her dearly but will hold on to the memories of the time we shared.
Rest in peace, Great Aunt Hazel. With all my love, Beth Ann
