Hazel Diane Golomb

June 3, 1958 – August 25, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel Diane Golomb (nee Ferrell), age 67, of Princeton, New Jersey, on August 25, 2025. Born in Seville, Spain, to Ray Ferrell and Hazel Ruth Ferrell (Davis), Diane was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and dedicated community member whose life was defined by love, family, and friends.

She was a devoted wife of 44 years to Jeffrey Howard Golomb, as well as a caring and amazing mother to her children, Rebecca and son-in-law Eric Martinez, Michael Golomb, and Amy Golomb.

As a grandmother, Diane found boundless delight in her grandchildren, Aiden, Ian, David, and Lily, who were a source of endless joy and inspiration in her life. She is also survived by her siblings, George "Bobby" Ferrell and sister-in-law Carol, Ginger and brother-in-law Christian Anderson, special cousin Debra Gentile-Garant, and she reunites in peace with her late parents, as well as brothers, Tony Ferrell and William "Billy" Ferrell.

Diane volunteered with the Women's Auxiliaries for Princeton Hook and Ladder, Princeton Engine Company #1, and Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad. She was also active with the PTA.

She will be deeply missed. Her caring and generous heart will be remembered forever by all who knew her.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home in Princeton, NJ. A private burial will be held for family and close friends on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children, continuing Diane's legacy of giving.
