Hazel M. Lidster, 97, passed away on July 18, 2025, at Park Terrace Health Campus. She was born on October 16, 1927, in Harlan County, KY, to the late William and Josephine Daniels and was of the Protestant faith. Hazel loved to sew cook and was always willing to open her home to any that needed a place to stay or eat. She was a full time mom and homemaker and Hazel loved her dogs, Corky and Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lidster; daughter, Patricia Lidster; nephew Edward Craig, whom she raised as her own and her 13 siblings.
Hazel is survived by her son, Clarence and Darlene Lidster and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 1pm-4pm with a celebration of Hazel's life beginning at 4pm.
The family would like to thank Park Terrance Health Campus for the love and care they gave to Hazel during her stay and a special thank you to Hosparus for the love they showed.
