Hazel Raduszewski, age 86, passed away on January 9th, 2024, surrounded by family.
She was raised in a loving home on Rockford Road as part of a large family. She played girls softball for the Rockford Rags. She loved cooking for her family, especially at the holidays. Mom will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and confidant. Mom loved her dog, Brock. She loved hosting her weekly Yahtzee games with her sisters and friends; going to the beach with sisters; Caribbean cruises; and going to Phillies games. She was very feisty and in later years, and had no problem giving the middle finger salute!
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Kathy), Adam (Michele) Dianna Antenucci May; sisters, Frances Conway (Kevin) and Sandy Lord who was also Mom's best friend and constant companion; grandchildren, Joseph, Timothy, Michael, Adam Jr., Jenna, Mario Jr., and Alyssa.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sr.; son, Eugene Jr.; grandson, Jason; and her six siblings.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 6:00pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 4:00pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Faithful Friends, 165 Airport Road, New Castle, DE 19720.
