Hazel M. Sisk, 86

Hazel M. Sisk, 86, of Bostic, died Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

She was the widow of Charles Sisk, and a daughter of the late Ross and Cleo Morrison. In addition, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Eunice Hughes, Ethel Ensley, and Jeanette Conner; and 4 brothers, Yates Morrison, Spurge Morrison, Hubert Morrison, and Jimmy Morrison. Hazel retired from Stonecutter after 40 years of service. She was a member of Robertson Creek FWB Church. She was a big Braves fan and Carolina Tarheel basketball fan. She loved working in her garden, cooking, and most of all loved doing things for her granddaughter and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee McCurry and her husband Randy, of Rutherfordton; a sister, Betty Green and her husband Gene of Rutherfordton; a brother, Wade Morrison of Forest City; her granddaughter, Kalie Sears and her husband Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Gray Sears and Grant Sears.

The Funeral will be conducted at 4:00 pm Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Scott Keeter and Rev. Darvy Hensley will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm Friday, March 27, 2025 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
