Hazel Tyson Obituary
Hazel Lee Cooley Tyson, 76, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of fifty-seven years, R.L. Tyson of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Nicky Nicole Jackson Gordon and William of DeRidder, LA; sons, Owen Deltern Slaydon, III and Tessa of Amarillo, TX, Michael Billings and Tracy of Worthington, KY; sisters, Marie Smith of Town Bluff, TX, Velma Self of Silsbee, TX, Nancy West of Silsbee, TX; grandchildren, Angela Irene Gordon, William Edward Gordon, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Angie Cooley; brother, A.C. Cooley, Elmer Cooley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Graveside Funeral service and burial will follow at 10:30 AM at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA. Brother Jimmy Clark will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be William Gordon, Jr., William Gordon, Sr., Kaiten Tyson, Owen Slaydon, Alton Tyson, Ronnie Scott. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Billings.
