PETERS – Loving Husband, Devoted Father, Faithful Servant, and Child of God, Hearon Keith Peters went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, November 3, 2025. His life was defined by faith, love, and resilience - a shining example of strength and joy through every trial. Born with a passion for family, music, and classic cars, Keith often spoke in his final days about being ready for his "frame-off restoration" - his complete renewal in Heaven, made whole and new in the presence of his Savior. For 17 years, he worked faithfully at Control-O-Fax before vision loss led him to retire. Never one to give up, he poured his heart into music, sharing his voice and testimony at churches and retirement communities throughout North Georgia. His wife, children, and parents were the very center of his life. His love for them never failed or wavered. Through all of life's curve balls and challenges, he led with patience, grace, and an unwavering faith that reflected the heart of Christ. He is survived by his wife of nearly 46 years, Cathy Peters; children, Michelle Lasiter (Jesse) and Michael Peters; parents, Artwell and Violet Peters; brother, Andy Peters (Mary); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Peters. The family will receive friends 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at First Baptist Church Loganville, 680 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jimmy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Union Chapel Church Cemetery, 2625 Pannell Road, Monroe. As one of his favorite hymns reminds us: "Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see". Arrangements by Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544. Please sign the online guest registry at www.stewartfh.com.
