Heath Wilson Obituary
Born on April 5, 1973, Heath grew up with a passion for sports, camping, and the company of good friends. He was known for his quick wit and playful teasing, yet he never lost the sweet, affectionate spirit that defined his childhood.
Heath graduated from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), where he studied economics and proudly took the field as a member of the Keydets baseball team. Following graduation, he built a beautiful life alongside his devoted wife, Kristin. Together, they raised two children, Teagan and Roan. Heath was their biggest fan, radiating pride in every one of their accomplishments.
A dedicated member of the Seacoast community, Heath coached for Portsmouth Little League, served with the Hampton Rotary Club, and spent many happy hours with the Breakfast Hill Golf Club league. Heath enjoyed being a member of the Portsmouth Elks Lodge #97.
In recent years, he could always be found cheering at the rink during his son's hockey games. Heath leaves a legacy of love and encouragement that will stay with his children forever.
He is survived by his wife, Kristin; his children, Teagan and Roan; his parents, Franklin and Ruth Wilson; his sisters, Marnie Hitchew (Jim) and Lynne Roccisano (Anthony); and many nieces and nephews who will miss his humor and heart.

My team and I had the privilege of working closely with Heath Wilson, and he was a true joy to collaborate with on every project. He often spoke with great pride about his wife, son, and daughter, and it was clear how deeply devoted he was as a husband and father. I especially remember the pride he shared about his son playing hockey and the excitement around college visits with his daughter.
Heath and I also bonded over our shared experience in the Corps of Cadets. Even though we attended rival schools-VMI and Virginia Tech-it was a meaningful connection and one we both enjoyed. When Heath visited the Wilmington, N.C. office, he expressed genuine happiness in finally meeting the team in person, and his warmth left a lasting impression on all of us.
It was truly a joy and a privilege to have worked alongside Heath-a lighthearted, joyful man who will be remembered not only for his professionalism, but for the kindness and pride he carried for his family. He will be deeply missed.
