Heather Lea Blankenship-Woodson, 50, of Itmann, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was born August 15, 1975, in Beckley and was preceded in death by her father, Harry Blankenship.
Heather loved spending time with her family and friends and in her spare time she loved to paint, do crafts and listen to music.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, James (Keshia) Woodson; daughter, Makala Woodson; mother, Polly Lusk Shrewsburry; stepmother, Joanna Blankenship; brothers, Brian (Kelly) Blankenship, Harry (Brandy) Blankenship, III, Justin (Jay) Basham and Jeremy Basham; nieces, nephews, a great niece, aunts, uncles, a host of cousins and her loving and devoted partner of 6 years, Michael Kennedy.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Calfee Funeral Home with Brother Tim Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at the Shrewsbury Family Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
