Heather Dawn Rice, age 49, of New Lebanon, OH passed away Wednesday July 3, 2024. She was born in Dayton, OH on May, 6 1975. Heather had a love for life, and a love for people that was unmatched. She took great pride in being a nurse, specializing in Alzheimer’s. Her passion for living life to the fullest showed in her day-to-day life. As much as she didn’t like the word spontaneous, that’s exactly what she was. Her favorite place under the sun was Myrtle Beach, and she was over the moon when she got to see all of her grand babies there enjoying her happy place. She had the deepest passion for the Cincinnati Bengals, and loved nothing more than shouting a big “Who Dey” during football season. Her dog Oreo was her best baby as she would say, and her absolute world, and she took him everywhere she possibly could, even work. Her nursing career was her life, but being an Oma is her legacy. She loved her grandkids more than anything, and took great pride in being the reason they got to do fun things, and seeing them smile. Heather is the daughter of, and survived by, Wayne (Lana) Rice, and Jeannie (Christopher) Sampson. She is also survived by her daughters Tayler (Torey) Creech, and Aubrey (Bryan) Bolen, her grandkids Bentley, Cora, Kaydence, Keyson, and Kale, sister Amy Rice, her nieces and nephews Andrew, Hailey, Linley, Elzie, and Gage, her husband Steven Fuller, and her best friend Missy (Quinton) Richardson, and countless friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Margie L. Couch, and niece and nephew Danielle, and Charlie. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm at the Golden Gate Park, 545 Upper Lewisburg Salem Rd, Brookville, OH 45309.
