Heather Lea McQuistion was born on September 19, 1973 in Centralia, Washington. She died at St. Thomas Rutherford hospital in Murfreesboro,TN on September 18, 2025.
Heather became a registered nurse afterexcelling in nursing school at Middle Tennessee State University, including
serving as President of the MTSU Student Nursing Association. Heather loved her calling. Twice she went to Haiti, where she assisted in a Haitian clinic and helped to train medical students. Her latest position was caring for patients at the Vanderbilt Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic in Nashville.
Heather leaves behind her parents, Brian and Debbie McQuistion; her brothers Craig (Melanie) McQuistion and Chris (Shelby) McQuistion; her daughter Jillian Bearden; her step-daughter Jessica Agee; her former husband Mike Agee; granddaughters Lacey Bearden, Katie and Kinsley Myers; grandson Jacob McQuistion; nephews William, Max, Harvey, and Kyren McQuistion; and nieces Elizabeth and Goldie McQuistion.
A Memorial service will be held on November 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Turning Point Church - 1033 Barfield Church Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
