He is survived by his wife: Sandra N. Peña; daughters: Kristy Amaro (David) and Jacqueline Peña; siblings: Bertha Alaffa and Oscar Recio; grandchildren: Lilian Amaro and Emma Amaro.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, December 29, 2025 with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 306 S. 15th St., McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery, 1801 Wichita Ave., McAllen.
Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
