Heidi Carol Blue

HEIDI CAROL BLUE (nee Darus), age 65, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2025. Loving mother of David Blue (Rebecca Ferlotti); daughter of the late Theodore and Marion Darus; sister of Holly Darus and Mark Darus (Gretchen); aunt of Rachel Darus; "adopted" daughter of Jack and Judy Sevrence; family and dear friend to many. Heidi was a respected teacher at St. Columbkille Catholic School for over 15 years. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Through the years, Heidi was a mentor to many students, a treasured colleague, and a proxy parent to all who knew her. Heidi's advice, wisdom, and love will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berea Animal Rescue, www.bereaanimalrescue.com. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 4 p.m. Family and friends are invited to pay tribute to Heidi's life at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SATURDAY 2-4 p.m.
