Heidi Ellett, 68, passed away on April 9, 2023, in Vancouver, WA. Born on April 1, 1955, in Klamath Falls, OR, Heidi was a vivacious and inquisitive soul who loved to explore the outdoors and be in nature. When not working, she sought to create beauty within her garden and found great joy in the little things that grew there. After retiring from nursing, she found another passion in hiking the Columbia Gorge. She genuinely enjoyed lifelong friendships and learning what made other people happy.

Heidi graduated with a B.S. in nursing from the OHSU campus in Klamath Falls, OR, and worked as a nurse from the late 90s until her retirement in 2015. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepard in Vancouver, WA, where she worshipped.

In her free time, Heidi enjoyed gardening, reading, quilting, hiking, and cooking. She was a loving wife to Dwight, sister to Margaret, sister-in-law to Mark, mother to Adam and Tara, mother-in-law to Josh, stepmother to Dustin and Alexis, grandmother to Oakley, Bodie, and Indie Jane, and step-grandmother to Martin.

Heidi was preceded in death by her father, Jack Martin; mother, Vanelia Martin; and stepmother, Lois Martin.
