Heidi Ann Sheffer-Fields

Heidi Ann Sheffer-Fields, age 46, of Battle Creek, Michigan, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 3, 1978, in Battle Creek, she was the cherished daughter of Richard Lynn Sheffer and Shirley Ann (Mihulka) Sheffer.
A graduate of Pennfield High School in 1996, Heidi devoted countless years to her role as a daycare provider, alongside her work as a Health Coach and Community Leader, right up until her final weeks with us. She was a true warrior, embodying remarkable strength and resilience. Her dedication and compassion left a lasting impact on the lives of many.
Heidi had a passion for fitness, enjoying activities like cardio drumming, playing Bingo, cards, and volunteering. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her children and family.
Heidi is survived by her father Richard Lynn Sheffer, her former husband Keith Fields, and her four beloved sons: Dominick Fields, Bryce Fields (Kalli Robinson), Liam Sheffer-Busick, and Jordan Fields. She is also survived by her sister, Shannon (Brock) Sheffer, three goddaughters, one godson, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her extended drumming family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Sheffer.
Heidi's absence will be deeply felt, and the impact she made on so many lives will ensure that her legacy lives on forever.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Friday March 14, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A celebration of life will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 am with of officiating.
