Helen Collins Obituary
She was born on March 13, 1949 to the late George and Jean (Sanders) Gipson in Gruetli, Tennessee. She was a member of Love Divine Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress at Palm Beach for many years.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Rob" Harold Collins of Eubank, Kentucky; her daughters, Carrie Collins Thomas of Somerset, Kentucky and Jennifer Depuy of Georgetown, Kentucky; her sisters, Kay Bennett of Spiceland, Indiana, Linda Baker of Gruetli, TN and Lisa Craft of Beauford, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Kimberly Nicole & (Jose) Cruz, Heather Lynn Collins, Ryan Collins, Jamison Collins, and Alex Depuy; and five great-grandchildren, Gohan Clayton Loveless, Brysyn Robert Portman, Augustine Leon Cruz, Nolan Luke Portman, and Desmond Nicolas Cruz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Clayton Collins; and a brother, John Harold Gipson.
A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dustin York officiating.
Burial will be at Science Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends starting at 12 PM until time of service.
