Helen Larue Hall, age 85, of Amity passed away January 18, 2024. She was born October 9, 1938 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Tilman and Allie (Childress) Hunt.
Other than her parents, Larue was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd D. Hall; brother, Delmore W. Hunt (Dean); and sister, Geraldine Hunt Tart (Eugene).
She is survived by her brother, Emual E. Hunt (Estalene); and a host of wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood with a celebration of life service immediately to follow at 2:00 PM.
Burial will follow at Philippi Cemtery.
Pallbearers are Clayton Thornton, Loyd Pittman, Tony Tart, Tylor Thornton, Tim Hunt and Hunt Tart.
Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Philippi Church and Larue's former co-workers at the Glenwood Glove Factory.
The family would like to express thanks to Dr. Mike Verser, Dr. Fred Heinemann and Arkansas Hospice for their love and care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Philippi Cemetery Fund.
