Helen "Julia" Hill, 81 years old, Fort Bayou Community of St. Martin, MS went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 31, 2024 in Ocean Springs, MS.
She was born in St. Martin, MS to Eleanor Ann Seymour Hill and Charles "Monroe" Hill. She attended St. Martin Schools. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, avid sewer and quilter. She was a great home cook, and her poundcakes were legendary. She enjoyed making blankets for all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her silky blankets will be treasured by many generations. She loves plants and gardening and watching the birds and squirrel’s feed.
Julia was welcomed to Heaven by her parents, Eleanor Ann Seymour Hill and Charles "Monroe" Hill; first husband, Eldon Larry Ladnier I; sisters, Irene Anderson and Dot Hopkins; brothers, Bub Hill and Donnie Hill, and Baby Seymour; Grandsons, Camdon Kris Deering, and Brixon Sincere Hyde; Neice, Deborah Galle Childers; Nephews, Keith Galle and Pookey Galle; dear friend, Joann King Hosli; and precious pets, Muffin, Duke, Hoss, and Auggie.
She is survived by her children, Krista Leah Deering, JulieAnn Ladnier, Eldon "Larry" Ladnier II, and Charles Earnest "Todd" Ladnier; Grandchildren, Michelle Leslie (Allen) Bevier, Amber Kristine Deering, Kimberly "Kimmi" Diane Deering, Destiny Anne (Keith) Lind, Michael William Hyde, Joshua "Colt" (Angéle) Beam, Ashley Marie (Tiffany) Thomas, Journee Anjulie Hyde, Micah "Chase" Hyde, Elijah "Trais" Hyde, Trinity "Sierra" Ladnier, Darren "Avery" Rueben Ladnier, Cathrynojean "Avenleigh" Julia Ladnier, Kenneth Eldon "Sagan" Ladnier; Great Grandchildren, Trenton Jeffrey Cross Spooner, Easton "Brooks" Spooner, Makaila Michelle Deering, Cera Jane Lind, Elani Marianna Lind, Juno Kai Lind, Kali Mae Lind, Grayson Michael Hyde, Oliver Ash Hyde, Liam Konner Beam, Caden Matthew Beam, Rowan Hayes Beam, Weston James Beam, Caraline Joy Thomas, Mustafa Hyde, Osman Hyde, Kamorah Grey Aranda, and Theodore "Theo" Charles Stratton; Her loving Sister, Louise Galle; and dear friend, Jeanann King Wilson, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
