Helen M. Jendrysik

Helen Marie Jendrysik, 88, of Bluff Street, Union Township, died Monday, November 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born in New Castle November 28, 1934 a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Novotny) Bobosky, Sr. She was married to John J. 'Racer' Jendrysik, Jr. on September 1, 1956, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Jendrysik worked as a cook and numerous area restaurants, including Starwood and Gigi's Pizza and had her own catering company for a number of years. She enjoyed flower gardening, was an avid wrestling and hockey fan, a loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, Robert Jendrysik, Joni L. Barkasi and her husband James and Kathleen McCready, all of New Castle, five grandchildren, Patsy, James, Kayla, Sarah and Zachary, and nine great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, James B. McCready, four brothers, Joseph, Jr., James, Tom and George Bobosky and one sister, Maryann Graziani.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 from 12 noon to 1 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A Blessing Service will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel, Deacon John Carran will officiate.
