Of Lackawanna, NY, passed away at the age of 103. Beloved wife of the late John Krypel; loving mother of David (Nora) Krypel, Dr. Geraldine (late Dr. Donald) Kelley, Evelyn (Louis) Croce, James (Donna), and Shirley Krypel; cherished grandmother of Kristin Krypel, Kara (Sean) Muldoon, Jonathan (Hillary) Croce, Jared (Joe) Krypel, and Matthew (Haley) Krypel; cherished great-grandmother of Teagan, Caeden, and Madelyn; dear sister of the late Edward (late Anne) Szarowicz; also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family will be present on Tuesday from 3-8PM at the (Blasdell/Lackawanna Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3450 South Park Ave., where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:15AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Queen of Angels Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Krypel was an original charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Matthew Glab Post and also a member of the Choir and Altar & Rosary Society at Queen of Angels Church.
