Helen Doris Lambert

Helen Doris Lambert, of Republic, MO, passed away from colon cancer on June 10, 2025, at the age of 91 years and 25 days. She was born in Wellston, Ohio, on May 16, 1934, to John and Nancy (Adams) Long and was one of six children in the home. Helen married Ralph Lambert on June 07, 1949, and they were blessed with four children: Terry, Danny, Gloria, and April. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, and taking care of her family. The family enjoyed taking summer camping trips to various states and Canada. Helen loved convertibles, riding in them as well as owning them. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband and all five of her siblings. Helen is survived by her children Terry Allen Lambert, Danny Ray Lambert and his wife Vivian, Gloria Jean Osborn and April Lynn Lill, four grandchildren Chris Lambert, Cindy Drockelman and husband John, Michael Baldwin and wife Heather and Melissa Henderson and husband Mike, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, as well as other extended family and countless friends. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at both Republic Rehabilitation and Nursing and Preferred Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they gave their mother and the family during her stay with them. A private graveside service will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested prayers.
