Helen Marie Floyd Langdon, 81, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
Helen was born on January 28, 1944 to the late Kenneth and Mary (Brown) Floyd in Pulaski County, Kentucky. She married her husband, Glen Langdon June 22, 1962. Helen enjoyed being with family and friends. She loved to cook, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen had a lifelong talent for writing and often wrote things for specific people. Above all, she was very loving and kind to everyone she encountered. She was a member of Union Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Glen Langdon, James Kevin (Angel) Langdon, and Stephen Peter (Ashley) Langdon; her grandchildren, Ashley (Daniel) Runyon, James Cole Langdon, Morgan (Dylan) Sisson, Madalyn McKenna Langdon, and Indred Whitaker; great-grandchildren, Peyton Runyon, Amelia Runyon, Brett Runyon, Preston Sisson, and Ryley Sisson; a special friend who helped care for her for several years, Jerri Pelc; and many other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Alvis Langdon; her parents; her sons, Phillip Allen Langdon and David Brian Langdon; and her siblings, Geraldine Floyd Osborne, Ronnie Lee Floyd, Kenneth Wayne Floyd, and Karen Blackwell.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Ponder and Bro. Charles Hoskins officiating.
Burial will be at Union Church of Christ Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
