Mrs. Helen Elizabeth (Lee) Smith, 95, of Greensboro, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Whitestone in Greensboro.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg with Reverend Hampton Faircloth officiating.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Cleamon Lee and Iola Brown Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Earl Smith; daughter, Millicent Smith; and two sons, Jerry Smith and Tony Smith. Helen was a beautiful and talented woman. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, singing, reading books, crafts, and completing puzzles. She was very special to her Whitestone family. She also was a sixty year member of the Grand Chapter of NC Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Ronald Franklin Smith; two daughters-in-law, Donna Smith and Barbara Smith; seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
