Moultrie, Georgia – Helen Jean Livingston, 89, of Hartsfield, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Stanley Norman officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Tuesday, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Charles Butler, Dusty Butler, Drew Brinkley, Martin Cornett, Jamie Livingston and Jamie Livingston I.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Lewis Sunday School Class of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Born April 15, 1936, in Eldorado, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Robert Edward Hodge and the late Gladys Sullivan Hodge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lawrence Livingston; daughter, Patricia Zimmerman; sister, Norma Cook; stepsons, Danny Livingston, Randy Livingston and Ronnie Livingston.
Survivors include her children, Wanda Bowen and husband, Jim, Linda Connolly and fiancé, Greg McCammon, Jerry Coleman and James “Jimbo” Coleman and fiancé, Debra Blackmon; stepson, Tommy Livingston; stepdaughters, Kandi Jones and husband, Barkley, Tonya Livingston; a granddaughter she adopted, Ashley Livingston; numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Pell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A dedicated homemaker, she was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to either Pine Grove Baptist Church or to Colquitt Regional Hospice.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
