Helen Long

Helen Long (nee Wachowski), age 84, of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Warminster, PA, passed away surrounded by her family on December 20, 2025.

Helen worked as a Registered Nurse at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Twp. for many years before retiring. She was an avid Bingo player, an accomplished seeker of four-leaf clovers, and cherished time spent with her family and her cats.

Beloved wife of the late John E. Long, III. Devoted mother of Cheryl Steese (Timithy) and Joan Covert (Kerry DeGroat). Loving grandmother of Gregory, Thomas, Rebecca, Jonathan, Bradley and Adam and great grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Beverly Pallas (the late Earl), the late Eleanor Jackson and sister-in-law of Susan Lawlor. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and her beloved cats Midnight and Tigress.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday. January 3rd from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 N. Delsea Dr., Clayton, NJ 08312.
