Helen Jean Marshall, 85, nee Deibel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Born in Strasburg, Ohio to the late Lyhl and Beatrice Deibel, Helen was the 12th of 14 children. She married Donald P. Marshall in 1958 and they began a fun and exciting life together with children and grandchildren, much travel and many friends. Helen and Don were named Richfield Citizens of the Year in 2001 because of their decades of volunteerism in the community.
Preceded in death by Don, 12 of her siblings and her son Brian. She is survived by her brother Ray Deibel; daughter-in-law Heidi; son Dan (Michelle); grandchildren Emily, Brent, Alex, Adam and Rachel; 5 great-grandchildren; and her loving companion after Don’s death, Mr. Ron Yackey.
Friends may call on MONDAY, October 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333. Order of the Eastern Star Ceremony will commence at 4:00 PM.
