Helen H. Mindick, 95, of Pine Grove, passed away Thursday, December 4th, at her daughter's residence.
Born in Sybertsville, PA on January 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Nola (Mowery) and Adam Heckrote.
Helen was the widow of Edward Mindick. The couple shared 47 years of marriage together.
She graduated in 1951 from Lankenau School of Nursing.
Helen was employed as a Registered Nurse at Jefferson Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia, where she had also retired.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Helen had a passion for crocheting and making beautiful table cloths and blankets for her family and friends. She spent years playing card games with friends at Swatara Village. She truly loved spending time with her family and friends.
Helen is survived by a daughter, Linda, wife of Donald Clark, Sr.; a step son, Joseph Mindick, husband of Jean; grandchildren, Jennifer, wife of Vincenzo Marsico; Melissa Clark; Donald Clark, Jr., Linda Clark Madden, wife of James Madden; and great grandchildren, Vincenzo Marsico II; Daniella Marsico, Ava Fortner, and Hazen Madden.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by sisters, Harriet and Loraine; brother, Donald; and step daughter, Katherine Serafin.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 13th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove. A viewing will be held from 9:30 until the beginning of the service at church. Interment will follow at Conyngham Union Cemetery.
