Helen Parker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by King-Tears Mortuary, Inc. - Austin on Feb. 8, 2026.
It is with both profound sadness and a sense of enduring love that I, Maria, announce the passing of my beloved mother, Helen Parker, on February 5, 2026. Born in Austin, Texas on January 8, 1945, Helen was a beacon of resilience and dedication, a talented woman with a generous heart who made a significant impact on everyone she met.

Helen was a remarkable woman who devoted her life to her most treasured role - being a mother. Her dedication was reflected in her tireless work as an Inside Sales Representative with American Billing Systems. She retired in 2010, having left her mark on the world of computer and medical sales. Yet, it was her unwavering commitment to being the best mother she could be that truly defined her. Helen was a living embodiment of the saying, "Motherhood: All love begins and ends there," by Robert Browning. She made sacrifices that were monumental, putting me, her child, first in every situation. Helen was not just a mother, she was a protector, a guide, and an anchor in stormy seas. Her love was a constant, steady force that I could always rely on.

Helen's resilience was unparalleled; she was a rock in the eye of life's storms. Throughout her life, she demonstrated a unique blend of strength, patience, and determination, traits that she passed on to me. Her generosity of spirit was infectious, and she shared it with everyone she met. Helen's dedication was unwavering, and her talent was remarkable. She didn't just love - she showed that love in every action, every word, every moment. As her daughter, I was incredibly blessed to be the recipient of such profound love. The memory of her generous spirit, resilience, and dedication will live on in my heart forever.

Helen is survived by me, her daughter, Maria Dach. She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Marie Payton. As we mourn the loss of Helen, we also celebrate her life, remember her love, and cherish the memories we made together. I invite all who knew and loved Helen to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page. Helen's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of a mother's heart. Let us remember her for the beautiful, dedicated, and loving woman that she was.
