Helen Scott-Brackett Obituary
Departed this life March 21, 2025. Mrs. Helen S. Brackett, age 88, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, John Brackett Jr.; one son, John Brackett Ill; three grandchildren, Tanisha, Kyri and Antwain Brackett; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Blake; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, E. Aretha Saunders; two brothers- in- law, Forrest Brackett and Joseph Brackett (Alice); other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Brackett can be viewed on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 11am to 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Gravel Hill Baptist Church, 2600 Gravel Hill Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. Louis G. Jones, officiating. Interment, Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:15am on Tuesday.
