Helen Rose Thunder

Helen Rose Thunder, age 54, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in Pulaski. Helen was born in Antigo on February 22, 1968 to Priscilla (Shawano) Thunder and the late Dewey Thunder. Helen enjoyed the outdoors and riding in the woods. She loved to visit with friends and family whenever possible.
She is survived by: her mother, Priscilla Thunder; former stepchildren, Esperanza, Maya and Alfonzo; special daughter, Leslie; special grandson, Jade, Jr.; and brothers and sisters, Kathy Waupoose, Lynn (Dugan) Thunder, Danny Thunder, Darwin Thunder, Thomas Thunder, Robert Thunder, Roger (Pam) Shawano, Mary L. Notinokey and John Nahwahquaw. Helen is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Helen is preceded in death by her father and brothers, Kyle Thunder, William Thunder, Alfred Waupoose and Duane Thunder.
Traditional Big Drum services will be held at the Zoar Ceremonial Building beginning at 3:00 pm on Monday, August 15, 2022 until the time of burial at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in the Zoar Burial Grounds. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
