Helen Wurpel Obituary
Langhorne - Helen C. Wurpel, age 94 of Langhorne PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Attleboro Nursing Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Yardley, Mrs. Wurpel was a lifelong area resident.
Helen was an active member of the Fallsington United Methodist Church, and enjoyed knitting and fishing.
Daughter of the late John and Myrtle Coulton, husband of the late William R. Wurpel, and mother of the late Myrtle Ellen Wurpel, Helen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Cliff Hamm of Estero, FL, a brother and sister-in-law Richard and Rose Coulton of Brooksville, FL, two sisters and a brother-in-law Agnes Britt of Wilmington, NC and Jackie and Jerry Swartwood of Yardley, PA, two grandchildren and spouses Kate and Evan Weir of Madison, WI and Andrew and Tracy Hamm of RI, three great grandchildren Isla and Will Weir, and Aiden Hamm, and many nieces, nephews, especially Jason Swartwood, great nieces and great nephews.
Her services and Fallsington United Methodist Church, as well as her interment in Newtown Cemetery, will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helen's name may be made to the Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 Lacrosse St., Fallsington, PA 19054. (www.Fallsingtonumc.org).
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
