Helena Pasour Lassiter, born on March 3, 1966, in Rota, Spain, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, September 21, 2025. She leaves a legacy of love and dedication, deeply felt by all who knew her.
Helena dedicated nearly 40 years of her life to the USDA-Farm Service Agency as a Program Service Technician. Her commitment to her career was only matched by the affection she had for her family. Helena’s personality was marked by her graciousness and gentleness; she loved everyone she encountered. Those who had the privilege of working with her often remark on her warmth and the positive energy she brought to the workplace.
Family was the cornerstone of Helena's existence. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating lasting memories filled with joy. Helena is survived by her children, son, Cale Lassiter (Justin) and daughter, Brandy Lassiter, who will carry her spirit forward. She was also a proud grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Tristan, Vada, and Leighton. They were a source of immense pride and happiness in her life. Helena is remembered by her sister, Marie Graham, and her daughter, Madison, who will hold dear the cherished moments they shared.
She is preceded by her parents, Harold and Angeles Martinez Pasour, her brother, Vincente Pasour, and her grandparents, Brooks and Helen Pasour. The love and guidance of these family members shaped Helena’s life and instilled in her the values she carried into her own family.
A Private, by invitation only visitation to celebrate Helena's life will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home in Gastonia.
Helena will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Breast Friends, 1607 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28207
