Henrietta Boniewicz Obituary
The Lord welcomed home Henrietta "Penny" Boniewicz, 86, of Wallingford CT formerly of Meriden CT and North Haven CT on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Hazel Pestey and sister to the late Harriet Pestey Rojas. Penny had faced many challenges in life but had always prevailed and prided herself on her determination and independence. Isaiah 40:31 "for those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint." In addition, Penny had many successes and enjoyments. She shared her never ending love, friendship and wisdom to family and friends. She leaves behind Christian Veith (Hamden CT), and Thomas Veith (Mooresville, NC) as well as her daughter in law Renee Veith (Mooresville, NC) and granddaughter Loren Veith (Mooresville, NC) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The visiting hours will be on Wednesday, March 29th from 4 to 6 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 6:00. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Center #3, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or Animal Haven Inc., 89 Mill Road, North Haven, CT 06473. www.northhavenfuneral.com

I had the pleasure of meeting Penny when I worked at JCP in the Jewelry Department. Penny and Chris would walk around the Mall after work and they would stop by and look at all the beautiful jewelry. We would chat and we became friends. We would go out for dinner and talk about our lives and I was so happy to be their friends. Penny´s smile would light up a room.
