Henry was a lifetime member of Temperence Hall Church. Henry retired after 30 years of service at Abbott Labs. Henry loved his family and took care of his mother in her final years. He will be deeply missed. Henry made a difference in the life of everyone who knew him, and he leaves behind a tremendous legacy of life, love, and laughter.
Henry is survived by his niece, Jennifer Richardson; aunt, Margie Strickland; great nephews, Dominick and Alexander, and brother-in-law, Wayne Webb.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 661 English Road Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Pastor Rev. Carlton Cockell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mill Branch Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the parlor at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Henry's name to Temperance Hall Church, 3834 Temperance Hall Road Elm City, NC 27822.
