On the evening of Friday, October 4, 2024, we lost our beloved father, uncle, friend, and brother-in-law; Lee Clark, at the age of 71. He was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, on August 5, 1953, to the late Elemer Sr. and Ruby Toliver Clark.
Henry was a faithful member of Fellowship Bible Baptist Church, where he served in the usher’s ministry with pride and joy. He retired from the Houston County Board of Education after 16 years of service. His favorite television shows were The Wrestling, and Family Feud. Besides his family, Lee also loved a clean car and burning gas. He had a heart of gold with an everlasting sense of humor. Lee visited every family member at least once in his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vivian Smith-Clark; and siblings, Willie, Alice Mae, Elmer Jr., Gloria, Joseph, Dorothy, Peggy, and Roy; as well as, grandson, Jamal Smith
He is survived by his loving sons, Jornall and Jovan Smith of Warner Robins, Georgia; goddaughter, Arnishkia Nelson of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Jornall, Jr., Jayda, and Jakorian of Warner Robins, Georgia; one great-granddaughter, Janavia; five sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Jackson, Linda Watkins, Lorann Nelson, and Joyce Smith, all of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Dr. Rutha Jackson of Bonaire, Georgia; four brothers-in-law, Willie James Tharpe of Macon, Georgia, LeRoy Bagley (Diane) , Charles Smith (Sharon) of Lorron, Virginia, and Lenyard Smith (Louise) of Warner Robins; bonus granddaughter, Leilani; aunt, Myra Halliburton (George); devoted niece, Rosie Walker Woodford; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend, that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church. Afterward, Henry “Lee” Clark will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
