Henry Collins Obituary
Henry married the love of his life, Maryanne (Rothwell) Collins, on September 17th, 1965. They were married for 43 years before Maryanne passed away in 2009. Henry and Maryanne have 2 children, Jesse Collins, born in 1967, and Karen (Robert) Phillips (Collins), born in 1971. Henry retired from the city of Indianapolis in 1995 and went on to work for Kroger before retiring from there in 2018. Henry loved fishing with his wife and loved playing basketball in his younger days.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maryanne Collins; his parents, Henry Collins Sr and Mary Sue Collins (Knight); his brothers, Bobby Collins, Mike Collins, and Larry Knight.
He is survived by his kids, Jesse Collins and Karen Phillips; grandchildren, Robert Phillips Jr., Grace Phillips, Bailey Lee (Collins), and Carson Collins. He has 3 great grandchildren, Delilah Phillips, Emersyn, and Dallas Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorial donations to help with expenses. You can call and donate at 317-348-1570.
