Henry Daniels Jr. 68, of Berea, KY, (most knew him by Ces or Cecil) passed away August 22nd, 2024, while inpatient at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Henry was born on December 6th, 1955, in Stopover, KY, a loving son of the late Henry and Mable Daniels.
In addition to Henry's parents, he was also preceded by his daughter, Kissy Adkins, his paternal grandparents, Cecil and Viola Daniels, maternal grandparents, Willie and Rebecca Wolford, brothers, Ronnie and Jason Daniels, nephews, Jason Nathan Daniels, Robert Daniels Jr., and one niece, Stephanie Daniels.
Henry was a retired Coal Miner and was of the Christian faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars. He was a beloved dad, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.
Those remaining to cherish Henry's memory include his brothers, Hassel Daniels and his wife Teresa of Freeburn, KY, Earl Daniels and his wife Connie of Lynn, WV, Howard Daniels of Georgetown, KY, Robert Daniels and his wife Michelle of Huntington, WV, and Herman Daniels of Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Donetta Campanella of Freeburn, KY, Betty Sanson and her husband Frank of Mason, OH, and Doris Daniels of Houston, TX; one uncle, Drewey Wolford, and one aunt, Lillian Daniels. Henry also had a special little girl that adored him, Becca Blankenship of Richmond, KY, and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 30th, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. with special services at 7:00 P.M. at the Jones & West Funeral Home in Phelps, KY.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday in the chapel with Odis Blankenship officiating. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
Interment will conclude at Lou Cemetery in Jamboree, Ky.
