Henry R. Hodges, Jr., 76, of Tappahannock, VA, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frankie and Henry R. Hodges, Sr.; and his granddaughter, Breelyn Vaughan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Peggy L. Hodges; daughters, Donna and Shannon Hodges; sister, Marian Carnell; grandson, Phillip Bristow; great-grands, Reagan and Kenston Brann, Grayson, Paisley and Avery Bristow, Holden Reign and Wrenleigh Douglas.
Henry spent his life caring for his family and doing for his friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, building, and spending time with family. He was multi-talented and a builder of all things.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025 from 5-6:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
