Henry J. Kerrison Jr.

ENTERING THE RING: Henry J. Kerrison, Jr. was born on July 13, 1976 to Henry J. Kerrison, Sr. and Shearon Hurst in Leesburg, Florida. The second of four children, Henry was the "baby boy." At a young age, Henry showed particular interest in wrestling, baseball, computers, and the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite pastime was watching WWE and any other kind of wrestling with his dad and his big brother, Les. THE DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE: After graduating from Leesburg High School in 1994, Henry entered the workforce and gained employment at the local Winn-Dixie. Knowing that entry-level work would not be the height of his career, Henry advanced quickly during his time at Winn-Dixie and eventually moved into the position of Produce Manager at the store. After 28 years of working at Winn-Dixie, Henry noticed the increase in the development of technology, and decided to attend Devry University, where he received his Associate of Arts degree in Information Technology. MAJOR DECISION: At a young age, Henry accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He eventually became a member of Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (GNB) of Ocala, Florida, where he received spiritual mentorship from his pastor, Bishop Dr. Tanya M. Hanks. In addition to his church membership at GNB, he often sought spiritual guidance from his uncle, Ronnie Hurst, Father-in-Law, Reverend Charles McKinney, and Grandfather-in-Law, Elder Robert Hanks, Sr. TAG TEAM: In March of 2002, Henry met LaJetta Marie McKinney. After the heart" just two months of dating, Henry knew he wanted LaJetta to be his forever "tag team partner." They joined in wedded bliss on May 15, 2002. From this Holy matrimony, three additional members were added to the tag team to complete the Kerrison wrestling dynasty: Braylon James ("BJ"), Braxten Marie, and little miss Brooklyn Marie. THE FINAL MATCH: On the morning of August 14, 2025, Henry J. Kerrison, Jr. wrestled his final match, tagging the hand of the heavenly father who put all of his sickness and pain into submission. The fight was over, the final match had been won, and Henry accepted his induction into the "Heavenly Hall of Fame." A lifetime of love and precious memories will forever be cherished by his most devoted "fans": his forever "tag team" partner & wife, LaJetta Kerrison; son, Braylon, daughters, Braxten & Brooklyn; mother, Shearon Hurst of Eustis, Florida; father, Henry J. Kerrison, Sr. (Vernette) of Clermont, Florida; brother, Leslie Hurst (Tyonna) of Leesburg, Florida; three sisters: Michelle Kerrison of Eustis, Florida, Angela Kerrison of Sanford, Florida, and Shunta McKinney of Clermont, Florida; nieces: Aliyah, Amaia (Jackie), Laila Rose; and nephew, Isaiah; one god sister, Jazzlin Cunningham; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
