Henry was born on January 3, 2018 and passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Henry was a resident of Easley, Alabama at the time of passing. He attended the University of Alabama while Bear Bryant played football there and was serving in the US Army as a welder. He was a member of the Easley Baptist Church; Served in the US Army during WWII 1943 - 1945 receiving the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal; he taught welding at the then-trade school in Gadsden and retired as part owner of a welding supply business in Knoxville, TN. Bro. Toby Hollingsworth will officiate services for Mr. Korner on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Valley Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with entombment following at Oak Hill Mausoleum.
