Henry Clayton Lambert

Henry Clayton Lambert age 64 of Roanoke and formerly of Franklin County passed away at his home on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was born on April 14, 1958 a son of the late Clifford Basil, Sr. and Winnie Pate Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clifford B. Lambert, Jr. "Buster"; and a sister, Patsy Jean Lambert Overfelt.

Henry retired with 36 years of loyal and dedicated service with Norfolk and Southern, In his off time, he enjoyed playing golf and was an avid fisherman. He loved his family unconditionally and spending time with them was a joy of his life especially when it came to their family tradition of making apple butter. He was a member and former Deacon of New Hope Baptist Church. Henry loved life to the fullest and will never be forgotten as he was loved by all!

He is survived by his sons, Jeremy C. Lambert (Jessica), Bradley J. Lambert (Mikaela), and Johnathan R. Lambert; his grandchildren, Sadie, Sydney and Seth Lambert; his loving sister, Trena Lambert Mizak. He is also survived by other family and friends.

His family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home.
