Doug,
We so often think of you both and miss our visits. Hearing of the loss of Henry was so sad but so many memories of him over the years will always make us smile. He always had a big smile, a story or some interesting neighborhood tidbit to share and if we were lucky a few tomatoes in his hand to share too! He was loved by so many and will not be soon forgotten! You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

What a wonderful man we were lucky enough to meet and enjoy his company. I think Henry Jr may be the new tomato man of Jonesboro. Love and prayers to the entire family. Barry and Patty Kostanski

Aunt Doug, Henry, Sherri and Glenda,

The news of Henrys death has filled my heart with sadness. Uncle Henry was one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever come across. Whenever we visited, he used to treat my brother David, my sister Debbie and myself like his own children. Uncles hold the title for being the family jokesters, the best storytellers, and cooler versions of dads (although mine was pretty cool too). Henry was all of those things. He was a jolly man who always tried to keep everyone around him happy. No words can heal the pain that you carry in your heart. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family, Henry will deeply be missed.

Henry will always have a special place in my heart. He was my manager at Georgia Power and one of the sweetest, most compassionate people at the company. I'll never forget the kindness he showed me when I was only 18 years old starting my career. I was working in one of our local offices waiting on customers and crying pretty much all day. He came in the office and asked my supervisor why Kim had tears in her eyes. I was upset because my dog had died the night before. The following day Henry came to work with a yellow lab puppy and gave it to me and told me to stop crying. I couldn't begin to tell you how much that meant to me. He was such a joy and I am a better person because of him. Rest in peace Henry. You will always be loved. Glenda and Scott hang in there. Life will difficult without him but having him as your father and father-in-law was a true blessing. Sending you and your family prayers. Kim
