Henry R. “Hank” Lesieur, 87, of Albany, GA, passed away November 19, 2025 at his residence. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Rev. Ray Leverault will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery with Masonic Rites and Military Honors by The American Legion.
Hank was born in Providence, RI on April 5, 1938 to Louis and Madolina Lesieur. After High School, he joined the United States Army, served in Vietnam and retired after twenty-two years. Hank moved from Ft. Bragg, NC to Albany and was the owner and operator of Hank’s Appliance Service for eighteen years before retiring. He was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church.Hank was a Master Mason and member of Triangle Lodge # 708 F&AM and had recently received his 50-year apron. He was both a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a York Rite Mason. Hank was a member of The Hasan Shriners where he was involved with The Transportation Unit, transporting children to The Shriner’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Hank was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Ann Lesieur, his wife, Rita Ann Lesieur and daughter in law Sandra Lesieur.
Survivors include his sons, Mike Lesieur of Grover, NC and Jon (Sonya) Lesieur of Albany, GA and Bruce (Ginger) Lesieur Leary, GA, his brothers, Gerald (Jean) Lesieur of Providence, RI and Dennis Lesieur of Dallas, TX and his sister Debra Taylor Lesieur (Raymond), grandchildren, Bruce (Denise) Lesieur, Jr. of Albany, GA, Easton Lesieur and Quaide Lesieur both of Albany, GA and a great-granddaughter, Erin Dixon of Statesboro, GA and Kyndall Lesieur and Ava Lesieur both of Albany, GA.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Saturday in the gathering room at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church.
