Henry Manuel Monreal

MONREAL - Henry Manuel Monreal, born into mortal life to Jesus and Soledad Monreal on September 5, 1942 in Casa Blanca, Riverside, CA, passed into eternal life on June 28, 2011 in Upland, CA after a 2 year battle with cancer. Longtime local resident of Azusa and Glendora, a graduate of Azusa High School, class of 1960, and an Associate of Science Degree from Citrus College. Served proudly in the U.S Army, 82 Airborn during the conflict in the Dominican Republic. After completion of his military service, he worked exclusively in the aerospace industry for 40 years. He is survived by his sisters, Esther Monreal, Carmen Sanchez, Rachel Monreal and Ernestine Monreal; brothers, Jesse Macias, Rudy Monreal, Jackie Monreal and Arthur Lopez; aunt, Jessie Fonseca; 31 nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6 from 5-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monrovia, CA on Thursday, July 7 at 10:00 A.M followed by internment at Oakdale Memorial Park in Glendora, CA.
