Henry Alden Munson III, 79, of Vancleave, MS passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born May 5, 1944, in Baton Rouge, LA to Henry A Munson Jr. and Jeanette Lajeune.

After graduating high school, Henry began working. Throughout his life, he worked at Klein Peter Dairy, Dow Chemical Company, and Belle BR Casino. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, eating good Cajun food, dancing, building hot rod cars, watching his children and grandchildren play sports, attending his granddaughter’s dance recitals, and cooking with his grandson. He also adored his cat, Smokie and dog, Ellie, as well as tending to his chickens and garden.  Henry believed strongly in God and attended Mass faithfully.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and Henry Jr. Munson; first wife, Elain Munson; stepchildren, Lanie Kay Bayham, Quent Travis Bayham; and step-grandchild, Bryan Bayham.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Denise Parker Munson; children: Tina (Butch) Mann, Tammy (Monty) DeVall, Buster (Pat) Bayham, John (Rachelle) Munson, Mary Kay Munson, Michele Coleman, Michael Friedman; grandchildren:  Luke, Jorden, Ana, William, Amillia, Alan, Gynger, Jacob, Bridgette, Rachele, Jeremy, Brandon, and Lauren; great grandchildren: Desire, Buddy, Veronica, Harper, Bailee; siblings, John Wayne (Ann) Munson and Kathy M. LeJeune; and his loving pets, Smokie and Ellie. Henry was a good father, Paw Paw, and Pops.  He was lovingly adored by his family and his wife, Debbie, who gave him the happiest years of his life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with visitation starting at 11:00am.  Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited for food and fellowship after the burial at the church hall directly behind Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Munson, William Munson, Luke Simmons, Jorden Ladner, Logan Smith and Cheyanne Cochran.
